Free Quality Improvement Assistance Available

Coalition members can now receive free training to improve various clinical functions through technical assistance provided by Alliant Health Solutions (AHS), which is not associated with the Coalition. This is possible as a result of a five-year contract recently awarded to Alliant by CMS to serve as a Quality Innovation Network – Quality Improvement Organization (QIN-QIO) for Florida under the recently launched 12th Statement of Work. Alliant will provide targeted assistance to nursing homes and communities in small and rural practices, those serving the most vulnerable populations, and those in need of customized quality improvement. The objective of Alliant’s role is is to:

  • Improve behavioral health outcomes – including opioid misuse
  • Increase patient safety
  • Increase chronic disease self-management
  • Increase the quality of care Transitions
  • Improve nursing home quality

Alliant Quality invites all nursing homes, state organizations, providers, community leaders, Medicare beneficiaries, family members and caregivers to take advantage of these improvement initiatives. For more information and to learn how you can participate, contact Jeana Partington, Program Director at (919) 745-4729 or Jeana.Partington@alliantquality.org.
